POSTERS ABOUT
ARCHITECTURE
AND CITY:
TRANSFORMATIONS
In this edition the BAQ proposes to discuss architecture from the notion of transformation, whose etymological origin, transaformare, refers to the change of form. We are interested in form because of its abstract, conceptual and operational characteristics, that is, as a structural system of relationship between its constituent parts, between the ideal and the real, capable of opening up transformative possibilities.
Ecuador Biennial Poster and the Panamerican Biennial of Architecture in Quito, have generated this space for exchange, dialogue and participation, in which, in addition to opening a joint agenda of activities, they convened those working in graphic design, photography and art, to compete in Category F.
